Land Spraying

Vacuum Unit Land Spraying

Big Eagle provides a large fleet of tandem axle and tri-axle Vacuum Trucks for land spraying. Land spraying can be carried out for a variety of projects including: the drilling of surface holes, shallow gas and for any other drilling activity using environmentally-friendly drilling fluids and other disposal methods.

Our tri-axle vac trucks are equipped with a tire Pressure control (TPC) system, which allows the operator to increase or decrease the tire pressure as different field situations require. Correct use of the tPc reduces road damage, ground pressure and compaction, making the trucks less destructive to the environment.

A state-of-the-art GPS system allows all vehicle activity to be monitored for field application and safety purposes. The system records: activity reports, fleet proximity, idle time, individual truck or fleet locations, speed, travel time and distance. Information on an individual truck, groups of trucks or the entire fleet may be brought up on a screen by dispatch or supervisors as required.

Specialized Equipment

Agitator

Big Eagle maximizes the benefits of land spraying while drilling by equipping each Vacuum Truck with mechanical shale agitators, which effectively suspend solids to allow even land spraying of all fluids and solids.

Gator Vacuum Unit

By maintaining a large fleet of tandem axle and tri-axle trucks, Big Eagle is able to provide numerous truck feature combinations to meet customer’s project size and field service needs including: quad semi-trailers, flotation tires or tire pressure control (TPC) system. As well, Big Eagle provides a fleet of fully equipped service trucks manned by a licensed heavy-duty mechanic who performs regular scheduled servicing and maintenance to the equipment in the field.

Vacuum Fleet

Big Eagle’s Vacuum division encompasses many different types of Vacuum trucks to suit every project. Semi and Combination units can be used for bigger jobs such as sumps or major cleanups. Even the most extreme and severe conditions can be overcome by the All-Terrain Gator Vac. All Big Eagle’s Vacuum trailers are capable of being self-contained or tied into on site services, for our customers’ convenience.

Production Vacuum Trucks

Big Eagle’s tri and tandem axle Production Vacuum trucks are designed to meet your production needs.

All units are certified to B620-09 standards to meet regulations throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Our trucks with steel or aluminum tanks are capable of transporting approximately 6-11m3 of product. All production units are equipped with 4" and 6" load valves that are certified air actuated spring-applied safety valves providing diverse capabilities. A pressure compensated hydraulic system controls the blower, minimizing froth and over-pressure situations and fully isolated vacuum tanks allow for transportation of any material safe from leakage and spills. All of our units are equipped with emergency safety shutoffs for the truck engine, load valves and isolation systems.
