Pressure Testing

Big Eagle has a full line of high pressure BOP testing trucks from one tonne four wheel drive units up to five tonne units. Big Eagle also has a specially designed skid unit for doing remote or arctic jobs with capabilities of 70,000 KPA pressures.

The Fleet

Big Eagle’s pressure testing fleet consists of 20 trucks total: seventeen of which are 5 tons, and three 1 tons. The 5 ton units have a carrying capacity of up to 2000 litres and are are capable of 5000 to10,000 psi. The 1 ton units can carry approximately 1200 litres with a capability of 3000 psi and one truck capable of 10,000 psi.

All Big Eagle pumps are certified for pumping methanol and other dangerous goods safely without risk of spilling hazards or damage to the pump. Every truck can pump as low as 2-3 litres per minute for such slow-rate pumping jobs as cement squeezes, formation integrity tests and leak-off tests.
