Safety Commitment
Big Eagle considers safety a number one priority for its jobsites and personnel. A full-time Safety Coordinator manages and continuously enhances their safety program.
Big Eagle’s commitment to safety is evident in the education and training provided to new and existing staff, which includes: orientations, safe work procedures, hazard recognition and assessment, safe driving policies, safety equipment, and incident and accident reporting.
Their safety program promotes safe work practices and ethics, teaching their employees job responsibilities in a safe work environment. As part of the safety program, field employees arriving on a new job participate in safety meetings 
and fill out pre-job inspection forms prior to work in the field commencing. A copy of this form is provided to clients for project site inspection and work records. Big Eagle also performs surprise site inspections to verify the accuracy of employee safe-work practices and job site safety procedures.

Technology Commitment
Big Eagle’s commitment to safety is additionally evident in the implementation of GPS technology, which is installed in all of its units and used to assist in monitoring all field activity to provide effective and efficient recorded data to its customers, including accurate daily tracking down to the minute.
By employing the latest in-house technology as well as Geographical Information System tools provided by Telus Geomatics, Big Eagle is able to better serve its customers and perform detailed tracking of its fleet around the clock.
Big Eagle’s operators and equipment are monitored 24 hours a day, which caters to effective productivity and safety through accountability. By using tools such as this, Big Eagle continues to be a leader in customer service by consistently evolving and utilizing the latest advancements in technologies.
